This sequence of photographs shows the gradual destruction and collapse of the trees in the Old Tidemill Garden in Deptford in 2019. The garden was started by the students and teachers from the local school in the late 20th century. After the school closed in 2012, property guardians took care of the garden; a local community group took over after the guardians’ eviction in 2014. The site is currently undergoing redevelopment. © London News Online, London
